CEN feasibility projects in the field of Services

The European Commission addressed a mandate (M371 EN) to CEN in the field of services to support projects aiming to look in depth at a particular service area and make an analysis with the involvement of the stakeholders, in order to demonstrate the need and the possibilities for the use of standards.

CEN proposed to realize projects called "feasibility studies" on various services. These are the following:

Horizontal:

• CHESSS: CEN Horizontal European Service Standardisation Strategy (www.chesss.eu)

Business Related:

• Consultancy Engineering Services
• Welcome/reception Services
• Recruitment Services
• Trade, maintenance and location of sailing and motor boats
• IT-Outsourcing
• Outsourcing

Consumer Related:

• Accessibility Services in transport & tourism
• Services for resident people
• Residential homes for elderly people
• Smart house services for elderly & disabled people
